ELECTION RESULTS ARE IN, THANK YOU DELAWARE CITY!

April 8, 2026

Hello Delaware City Residents,

The votes are in, and the results of the April 7, 2026 Municipal Election have been officially certified!

With 174 residents casting their ballots, our community showed up and made their voices heard.

Here are the official results for City Council (2-year term):

Arthur Turner – 126 votes
John Roberts – 66 votes
David A. Turley – 115 votes
Lawrence Williams – 50 votes
William D. Saunders – 76 votes

Congratulations to Arthur Turner, David A. Turley, and William D. Saunders, who have been elected to serve on City Council!

We also want to thank all of the candidates for stepping forward to serve, and every resident who took the time to vote. Your participation makes a difference!

The newly elected Council members will be sworn in at the Mayor and Council Meeting on April 20, 2026.
