FINAL NOTICE: Renew Business License by February 27 to Avoid Fines

This is a final reminder to all Delaware City business owners that 2026 Business License applications were due on December 31, 2025.

If you have not yet submitted your completed application, required documentation, and payment to Town Hall, you are currently out of compliance and you must do so no later than Friday, February 27, 2026.

Beginning March 2, 2026, any business operating without a valid Delaware City Business License will be subject to a fine of $100 per day for each day of continued operation.

Pursuant to Chapter 51 of the Delaware City Code (Business License Ordinance No. 14-0616-01), no person shall operate, maintain, or engage in any business within the City without first obtaining a license.

To avoid penalties, please ensure compliance by the stated deadline.

If you are no longer operating your business and do not intend to renew, please notify Town Hall immediately.
